Services and Rates

It is common for massage therapists to charge different prices for specialty or advanced services.  However, I have found it most effective to use a combination of several modalities to achieve the best results.  For this reason I have a set price which is inclusive of all the tools in my tool belt (so to speak).  After talking with you, we may also choose to add cupping, muscle scraping, active or passive stretching, electrical stimulation, heat/cold contrast, just to suggest a few options.

60 Minute - $95

90 Minute  -  $135

120 Minute - $185

THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE:  This massage method is focused on health benefits and medical issues such as chronic pain and injury specific treatments.  With this type of massage both the client and the practitioner have a shared goal of achieving structural changes within the body.  With your permission, we will often be in contact with your medical professional  (such as physical therapist and chiropractor) to get directives from them to aid in your rehabilitation and healing process.  T

SWEDISH MASSAGE:  is often the modality that comes to mind when most people think about massage.  As the best-known type of body work performed today, one of the primary goals of the Swedish massage technique is to relax the entire body.  This is a relaxing, long stroke massage that is beneficial in releasing tension, increasing circulation, and decreasing overall stress.

DEEP TISSUE:  Works by manipulating the muscles underlying the connective tissue - called fascia - to loosen up areas that have stuck together to form "knots" and increase overall flexibility.  This technique increases circulation to targeted areas, stretches tissue and releases toxins that were trapped in adhesions.  While Deep Tissue Massage may be a bit uncomfortable at times, it should never actually hurt.  It can be used to relieve pain associated with muscle strain, sports injuries, whiplash, osteoarthritis and other debilitating conditions.  The focus is on the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons and fascia.

SPORTS MASSAGE:  Was originally developed to help athletes prepare their bodies for upcoming events or training to achieve optimal performance. This modality typically emphasizes prevention and healing of injuries to the muscles and tendons in the body.  However, Sports Massage is also helpful for anyone with chronic pain, injury or range of motion issues.  Sports Massage is commonly used for pre and post event massage to stimulate and relax the muscles on the day of training as well as restorative massage to help the muscles recover and rejuvenate in the days following training or an event.

MEDICAL MASSAGE: This clinical treatment Is an advanced session focusing on conditions which have been diagnosed by a medical doctor or require additional focus and instruments such as cupping, Graston Technique (also known as muscle scraping), or electric stimulation.   This treatment begins fully clothed with vitals analysis and moves into an intentional massage treatment focusing on trouble areas.  The goal is to see the clinical client move to a wellness client as their symptoms improve.

LYMPHATIC MASSAGE:  Most massage techniques aim to stimulate the body's muscles, however lymphatic massage specifically aims to detoxify the body.  The purpose of this is to encourage fluids to move through the lymphatic system, through the muscles and tissues, and toward the heart.  With increased lymph flow immune function is increased and harmful substances are removed from the tissue and neutralized in the nodes. This is a light pressure massage treatment and increases circulation as well.  Very enjoyable.

PRENATAL / SIDE LYING MASSAGE:  Pregnant or not, side lying massage is an extremely comfortable and effective massage modality.  It is effective in relieving shoulder, hip, IT Band pain as well as alternative stretching techniques.  In this technique, the client is lying on their side with pillows and other support as needed.  Benefits of prenatal/side lying massage is to reduce stress, relieve joint pain and sore muscles, improve quality of sleep, reduce swelling, relieve headaches,  improves circulation, improves nerve pain, gentle stretching can be used to prepare body for birth.  There are certain areas of the body which are avoided if pregnant.  This can be discussed with the therapist on the day of treatment.

CANCELATION POLICY:   I do require 24 hour cancellation notice.  If you cancel within 24 hours, full payment for missed service will be required prior to your next appointment  (This also applies to pre-purchased massages).  If you are showing signs of illness, please cancel with as much notice as possible and we will  work with you on the cancellation fee.  However, ALL NO SHOW APPOINTMENTS will be charged the full price of the massage.
